It is best to contact your local vaccination site before attempting to get your flu vaccination. Pharmacies and medical centres may prefer you to have a booked appointment.

When getting your vaccination, you will be asked to provide your name, region and brigade. This information will be collected by participating vaccination sites and used to confirm eligibility for a free vaccination, reporting and invoicing purposes.

There are over 300 vaccination sites throughout New Zealand.

Want a pharmacy or medical centre added?

Text NEW to 8783 or email with the name and/or location of the pharmacy or medical centre you want added. We will then contact you to discuss.

Please note: Only Unichem or Life pharmacies can be added. Not all Unichem or Life pharmacies offer vaccinations.

Text message services are provided by Modica Group, who collect your mobile phone number and send you a text message reply. You can view their acceptable use and privacy policies here.

Speed up your vaccination visit

• Make sure to call your participating pharmacy or medical centre ahead of your visit to check if an appointment is needed, and if they have vaccinations in stock.

• All pharmacy vaccinations require a consent form. You can complete it at the pharmacy, or print and complete it in advance.
