Planning your vaccination

• Find out where to get your vaccination by checking the available vaccination sites.

• Make sure to call your participating pharmacy or medical centre ahead of your visit to check if an appointment is needed, and if they have vaccinations in stock. Given the current COVID-19 situation, you must contact your local vaccination site before attempting to get your flu vaccination. Pharmacies and medical centres may be changing the way they normally give vaccinations, so you must call them in advance.

• All pharmacy vaccinations require a consent form. You can complete it at the pharmacy, or print and complete it in advance.

On the day:

• Present your emailed voucher (either printed or on your phone) to the pharmacist or medical centre staff.

• When getting your vaccination, you will be asked to provide your name, region and brigade. This information will be collected by participating sites and used to confirm eligibility for a free vaccination and to report on how many vaccinations are given and who receives them.

Please note

• When using an emailed voucher, no payment is required.

• You need to remain under observation for 20 minutes after your vaccination.

• Please wear appropriate clothing - the pharmacist needs to access your upper arm to administer the vaccine.
